Last night [livejournal.com profile] jenslinky & I stayed up real late talking to my sweet boy roommates, one of whom is moving out soon, you know, just about anything and everything.

One thing we discussed was fan mail. My one roommate is a musician and gets a fan email from a kid in Pittsburgh like every day. One went, "You know that guy in the back of the photo on your website? Doesn't he look kind of like the guy in the one commercial, you know, where they're in the car?"(or something). And my roommate is just like "Um, yeah, okay. Thanks for buying my album." He tries to be nice because obviously you should be nice to your fans.

So I was like "okay I just found out about this one guy, and I want to invite him to play this big party we're booking (it's about trucks) but I'm afraid to ask b/c his website was like "Speak to So and So about Booking from the Something Agency." Not "Hey sure I'll play your party about trucks for no money."

And my roommate was like "If he's a performer he likes to do it, you might as well ask."

So I sent him a fan mail today and asked and NOW I'M NERVOUS.
What if he says no? What if he says yes?

1. I missed that whole conversation. I guess I left before then.
