Alice-Mary woke me up at 6 to take the 7 train all the way to its end in Flushing and watch the Germany-Korea World Cup game in Seoul Plaza with thousands of cheering Koreans. We ended up in an open-air square where they had problems setting up the screen until the last quarter of the game, so we crammed into a tiny airless Korean restaurant with a zillion bizarrely polite Korean fans.
