pirateman? Is everybody ok? That's what happens when you attend rowdy parties without us, your bodyguards.
Today I am going to FIT to see what's up. Yesterday I spent an hour looking at grad school curriculums and job sites to "find myself." I did not find myself in the Columbia MBA or Law programs (esp. not at $50,000 a year!). Alas, I did not especially find myself anywhere else either.
A year ago I looked at job listings and was like "I could totally do any of these, grad school is for suckers and layabouts."
Now I am looking and thinking "I need to know Quark and copy-editing signs and have two years of subsidary rights experience and lots of other things before I can do any of these jobs. Maybe I should just go to grad school for something." This is partly because the easy jobs are all taken, I guess.
Maybe I will have my housewarming party this weekend. Pencil it in, fuckers, Sat. nite. You can buy me a pair of needle-nose pliers and some bloody mary mix as presents, ok? Jen can be in charge of mozzarella sticks.
