Permanent Stuffs
Mar. 12th, 2003 07:00 pmSo. Today I went and got a tattoo! For real.
I went to a place called Porcupine in the LES which was recommended. They were real nice even when I couldn't decide whether my design was too fat or too skinny or should be bright red or dark red for like, 20 minutes while the dude waited patiently.
And it hurt some but now it kind of burns in a good way, like a sunburn.
You guys can see it if you come to my housewarming party and ask nicely. Or any other time you see me actually. The party might be on the 29th. I know, I will quit lying. I think it will be then.
Also: the kitten is doing so much better. My spaz-ass roommate (who I like anyway) came home and announced that she couldn't deal with a crazy psycho cat. And I said "She is going to be fine, I think." And we went up to my room and dragged a ribbon under the dresser and she perked up and came out of there and walked around and looked in the mirror and kissed up to us.
And today she is eating and everything. Thank God. I had terrible visions, you don't even want to know.
Oh and coming out of the subway I realized that I will have these tattooes foreverm like even when I am an old old lady with swollen ankles, and maybe they will stretch out and look weird. But by then nobody will be checking out my legs anyway so it's cool.
