So it seems that little Ben will be staying for a month or two at least. This morning we ran into my friends who are renovating an apartment in their building, so he's going to stay there for free and help out. Then, we got a call from the Rubulad folks, so we will both be working at their next party on the 14th (in some swanky Manhattan place).

Thank goodness for the underground economy!

I hope NYC stays on its best behavior so he gets a good impression of it.

Also it is extremely fun to have someone around to make cookies with and stuff all the time. He and I are both the kind of people who can hang out forever and not get bored or cranky with each other. We used to hang around like 6 hours a day when we were in high school, and haven't seen each other a lot since then.

I am totally obsessed with striped clothes right now. The problem is that I can't wear any of them at the same time as the others.
