Nov. 14th, 2003 02:17 pmI turned down some temp work this morning in favor of laundry, purchasing and operating un Swiffer, scrubbing and otherwise cleaning the homestead. I just can't face doing that stuff on the weekend. The weekend is needed for paper-reading, drinking and recuperating from drinking.
Last night was Flux Thursday and yummy apricot-lentil soup. Also a video taken on security cameras of a recent birthday party, with some action. Quite disturbing and entertaining to watch projected on a large screen, with the Lord of the Rings soundtrack as background music.
I went to Pearl Paint yesterday and had to make purchases on three out of five floors AND both auxiliary branches (craft and paint).
The wind blew the heavy glass doors of the bagel store and then the health food store wide open right as I walked by yesterday. If I had been closer I would have been splattered. The health food store guy opened his eyes real wide and pointed at me as I went by, as if to accuse me of having done it with my telekinetic powers.
