labrujahI just snipped the sides of my fingers twice cutting my roommate's hair. I like to cut people's hair -- I get to practice on them (I've improved a lot since I started cutting my high school best friend Ben's hair at 14) and I get to run my fingers through their hair in a friendly way. Also, I get to envision new looks for them, and they pay me in ice cream.
It reminds me of when I was little and my mother would set up a chair and newspapers in the kitchen and trim my dad's hair -- one of their few peaceful ways of relating to each other.
