labrujahIf you or anyone you know would like to come up with some designs/illustrations for the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus's next project: The Cirkus of Curiosities/Variety Palace and Free Museum of Times Square, please email me right away at alitaforever@hotmail.com.
We're looking for a sideshow banner, pin-up art, old theater marquee-inspired style. Designs will go on T-shirts, bumper stickers, program covers, etc. This would be a great addition to a portfolio, if you are just starting out, and also a great way to support the revival of burlesque/vaudeville arts. Oh, also you get free tickets. Distinguished former illustrators include Mr. Jason Little of "Bee" fame.
And if you can't draw, you can help me think of something clever to write on them. I like "Anatomical Wonder," but they were thinking maybe something to do with Times Square...
