Post-Parade

Well, the lesson I learned this year is: Don't try to meet up with six people at giant anarchic parades. I spent the whole first three hours on the cell phone, and still managed to miss the two big moments I really wanted to see.

Once I got done quarreling and triangulating I could relax and had a really good time. We drank beer and poked each other with inflatable sharks and rode the Cyclone three times in a row and the sun set and it was all perfect. I wish my out-of-towners could have stuck around longer, but we will be friends forever so it's ok.
