labrujahYesterday I left work and wandering around looking at the big sales. I like to buy myself a few presents that I really want since I never get anything good from my family. (Never. We're talking wallet-on-a-lanyard and a shrug, here.)
I got blue spraypaint from the locked case in Kmart and along the way saw approx. 859 crazy New York people.
1) Girl in Urban Outfitters standing over the 4.99 accessories basket madly flinging hats and belts into the air. Then in line in front of me, realizing she lost her cell phone and tearing off her hat and coat and bursting into tears and going "I CAN'T deal with this right now, I just CAN'T."
2) Guy walking by Astor Place yelling into cell phone "Ok, INHALE. Now exhale. Good. Inhale..." etc.
3) Man in art supply store barking back at Jack Russell terrier in plaid coat, standing alone in the frames section.
4) Big bearded Russian man wearing a beret running up to cube in Astor Place, pushing it around once then running off cackling maniacally.
5) Older woman in Kmart and young sales associate sitting on the floor together with about seven different shower shelf units spread out around them, debating their relative merits with worried expressions.
Now I am lounging around in bathrobe willing myself not to get sick. I'm going back to bed, suckers.
