labrujahWhen it's windy, bottles roll across the roof. It's pretty loud. And the doors and windows rattle. I can actually feel a breeze on me right now. Time to start stuffing the cracks with newspaper...ah, loft living. It sounds really haunted.
Tonight I went to see a film about artist Andy Goldsworthy at Film Forum with some Madagascar friends. (Natasha Lyonne was there. She ducked out as we stood in line). It was very slow but nice. He goes out in nature and creates cairns and arranges leaves and sticks and uses the materials around him, putting them into a very specific order. You come across a nook of a tree all lit up with perfect yellow leaves overlapping, or a red puddle in a stream made by crushing up rocks with iron in them. Gorgeous. Obsessive. He made the winding stone walls at Storm King.
He goes out every day and makes a little (or big) thing in nature.
Today I hung up all my dresses. I don't even wear them that much, I just like to have them and look at them. Each one is another me, all hanging in a row.
Bean cut me a very short little section of bangs, and the rest all jagged. Sometimes I love them and other times I think they look retarded.
Someone from ebay emailed me asking for a photo of a pair of shoes I'm selling on, like, with feet in them. Maybe I'm just hypersensitive but that seems a little suspicious to me. I've seen so many ads from foot fetish guys. And who can't look at a pair of shoes and imagine what they will look like on?
