I am getting a tattoo soon. Finally, I know exactly what I want and where I want it.

If you would like to venture a guess or make a suggestion, they will be entertained.

Also, a recommendation of a good artist? It's very simple, what I want, but of course I would like someone who's not going to fuck it up anyway.

i dunno. he's also my ex boyfriend so i get tattoos for free.
what i do know is, he's an artist and he undercharges for tattoos.
call him up, bring the design, or concept & ask him direct.

i've heard that everyone at new york adorned is good. chris o'donnell did my friend billy's sleeve, which is really amazing. he's good with color, if that's what you need.

My friend went there a couple times and they seemed fine. But my boyfriend is too punk rock to go there with me.

i had Michelle Edge at new york adorned do all of my big black stuff. their artists are all pretty good.

Michelle is now over at the place on Bowery up the street from CBGBs. i love her work and she does the best solids (i've spent over 20 hours under her needles), but it's all a matter of style.

i had troy denning at ny adorned to a cover up for me & it is very well done. perhaps it -the shop- is a bit fancy, but they are also fairly professional, you know¿
macdougal st. tattoo place is also good .there is a woman who does wonderful color work there & i dont remember her name so sock me & i am going to guess that you are going to get a series of happy faces turning into a dead unhappy face.
