Can you believe this?

They named it NORMAL. The normal gallery. Normal art. I even had to campaign last-ditch to keep it from being Module. I wanted it to be named Seeing Eye Art or Maladroit Art or Caveat Art. This is one of those moments when I deeply doubt the group effort. I need to do something on my own, where I don't have to argue with anyone at every turn.

We had a plan where whenever they opened a show in the main gallery space at our house, several tiny rival galleries would also open shows like, in the hall or bathroom. Mine was going to be called ".38 Special" and feature art w/violence. Another was going to be called the "Beautiful Queens Gallery" and feature art w/unicorns and rainbows and teardrops.

I suppose I'd rather try to make my own art or finally finish the next issue of my zine than open a gallery.
