Totally sweet.
Apr. 9th, 2003 08:01 pmA shot of Patron seems to unwind a little screw located in the base of my neck and make hanging out at work all the easier.
Blah blah about work but here's the decision coming up:
Keep on at the school, where they are making me relief instructor and in charge of marketing, and also at the cafe where today I learned how to microwave eggs and the nice owner says she'll get me a sweet bartending gig. Cons: I feel scattered and the hours are both late and early.
Or
Angle for a full-time editorial job like the ones I've been reporting to for about two years, with the assistance of the temp agency.
Obviously I will go and see what happens. But all too soon I know that the temp agency will be aggressivly placing me in longer gigs and stuff (as is their job), and I will have to wiggle out of the other jobs.
I have never been good at quitting jobs. I just hang on and on, convincing myself that it's probably worthwhile.
