Oh, also today in the interview the nice lady goes "Um, and do you have corporate attire you can wear when we send you out?" and I look down at myself thinking "What are you talking about? This is the most corporate thing I have!"

aw, that always happened to manoflamacho!! he only has like 2 ties....and one "jacket"! whenever he had to temp at a place for more than a couple days he would have a wardrobe crisis!!!

I was wearing a waitress/button down sort of dress from Express (via Sal. Army), and blue elf boots.

Seriously, after a long peruse of the closet (ripped 50s prom dress, grandma sweater, shell bra, hm) that was my best interview outfit. I went straight to H&M afterward. But I think shoes are going to be the real problem.

i sometimes wish your clothing exchange area idea worked. i have spent almost $200 in the last year on interview/corporate type clothes that i never use. i wish i could leave them in some general area so that i could loan them out to people. i am sure most people who buy that sort of stuff need it only once in a blue moon. it is like the same scam that gyms run. you buy the membership thinking you'll go all the time and then you go only twice.
