Accoutrements

Ugh. Packing all morning made me thoroughly disgusted with myself. I admit it -- I have a problem.

Every time I leave the house I buy something. If it's from a stoop sale I especially can't resist it.

No more belongings!

This moving sale will, I hope, cleanse me to some degree. Things will be priced to move, whether or not I can bear it.

When I left college I had to make three piles: going, throwing out, and things I had to sit with one more time before leaving them behind.

this move is coming at a propitious time actually. you're in a state of flux what with other stuff going on and bieng in a new place will make you feel like you're starting all over again . . .

EXACTLY. I am actually really psyched for it. I can't wait to paint and see the nice clean walls in their new colors.
