In my head I was like "Oh hey, I had a poster of you on my wall for like three years and knew all your songs and stuff."
But out loud I didn't even give her the what's-up nod, which I reserve to communicate with Michael Showalter when I see him EVERY DAY at the cafe while I wait for my muffin to get toasted or moseying along on the streets.

i tend to tell them how important they are to me.
and what they mean to me. instead of saying "your music means x" i say " you mean x."
