Yooo.
My boss fell off a chair and hurt his back. Which somehow equals that I have to work a double shift. Awesome.

The sale went pretty ok -- there was barely a dent in the tons of stuff I have to get rid of, but it was fun to hang out in my house all day with my friends trying on my stuff and drinking blackberry iced tea!

This one middle-aged high-elastic-waist couple came in who were insane. They had a push cart and the dude had a weird backpack boombox thing with straps that you wear around. They insisted on testing all the CDs for sale in the backpack thing. Happily, the lady bought some of the terrible ugly silver jewelry my mom got me, and I was so psyched, I gave her the rest of it.

People were drawn to the weirdest stuff, stuff I would never have predicted. I sold a stretchy sequined tube top thing to a happy hipster couple who both tried it on.

Ooooh, shop-happy girl wants to know if you have a list of the CDs your selling? Who knows, I might need to buy a couple.

Ok the CDs are:
Tribe Called Quest, Beats Rhymes and Life
Mandy Barnett (she is like a neo-Patsy Cline)
Groovasaurus
The Brooklyn Beat, Down Home
Michelle Shocked, Captain Swing
Ani Difranco, Out of Range
7 Year Bitch, Gato Negro
Babes in Toyland, To Mother

And a bunch of Tori Amos imports and bootlegs:
The unreadable Tori (w/all of Y Kant Tori Read)
Silent All These Years single
Anything But Honey (from Italy)

$2 each, the Tori ones are $5 each because they are super rare and were originally about $25 apiece.

Yeah dude!

The L train was broken anyway, making it a challenge for anyone not in Brooklyn to come over.

My clothes are about 6-8 dress sizes, s/m tops, jeans size 7-9. The cds are listed above...

I will definitely post about the next one! With a shopping habit like mine it won't be too long

fun. actually, in my morning boredom i perused yr 'reversible skirt' website, and in my (sort of) impulsive desire to acquire new clothes, i purchased two of your things. um, i hope; i never use paypal, so hopefully it went through. lemme know...

Aha! That was you! I suspected as much.

Listen, the prairie skirt actually just sold at the garage sale -- I haven't revamped the site since then. But the swirl dress is on its way, and I'll be sending you a payment back (minus $4 shipping, which paypal is supposed to include but didn't), for the skirt.

You are Reversible Skirt's first customer, congratulations! Let me look around for an appropriate freebie to throw in.
