Classically, I am planning to go to SF the weekend after Burning Man. My friend is playing in a show, and I'd like to have a regular visit instead of a visit in the desert for once.

But of course my other friends from NY and Reno (and you thetathrees!) will all be there and if there's one thing I can't stand, it's MISSING THE PARTY.

Pros of going to SF instead of the desert:
less $$
more H20 and trees
it's what I promised myself I'd do all year

Cons:
missing other friends
missing all the crazy art

What should I do I have no idea. Thanks.

Personally, I think that Burning Man is for pretentious art fucks. I say skip it this year, and go to SF. Going to Burning Man seems like a cop out.
