(no subject)

I have no computer on weekends and Tuesdays now. I feel like I am missing everything by working on Saturdays (case in point bardot's party). Everybody pity me now.

EXCEPT: Yesterday Emily and I were taking a little stroll in Greenpoint and found a real amazing gorgeous old steamer trunk sitting by the side of the road. With all its drawers and stuff. And stickers from luxury cruise lines.

Understand, I have been dreaming of owning one of those for my entire life. As a small child I would cut out the page of the catalog featuring the doll with all her outfits in the steamer trunk. Who cares about the stupid doll, I wanted the TRUNK.

I made Emily guard it while I got a cab and on sheer adrenalin hoisted it into the trunk and got it safely into our home. I bought special room spray (vanilla, orchid and cinnamon; picture me in Pier One blasting 8 kinds of spray towards the other shoppers and sticking my head into the cloud trying to tell the difference) for it today. I love it the best. I am kicking out all the other furniture. (not for real).

Also, I might be going to Amsterdam with the Madagascar Institute to do dangerous unskilled pyrotechnic work and live in a short bus with sweaty people at this festival called Robodock. IF I can afford it and if I can get the time off. This might be a good instant payoff for not going to Burning Man.

Today I looted the Sunday Times Magazine and Styles section out of my boss's trash. Awesome. Check you later.

And: I don't party enough anymore. I am an old, old lady. I get movies from the library and eat ice cream and give the bowl to my cat like my gramma (who rocks btw). My new goal is to remedy this by partying more.

28 september, but i won't have it on that day cos that's the day i sleep all day and eat candy for breakfast.

me, too! i like to make cupcakes and snacks and such for the kiddies and once a guy in my class was like "why do you bring snacks to final crit?" and i was like "because i have aprons so i need things to cook while wearing them". sonny.
