Sep. 16th, 2003 11:40 pmThe bath is becoming a painstaking ritual. Two teapots and one spaghetti pot of very hot water + running the tap equals a semi-warm, semi-full afternoon bath. Two candles, why not, since it takes at least twenty minutes for all the water to heat. No wonder people never got bored in olden days. It took forever to do anything.
After a little talk with
man_size, I think I've figured out that not being productive is only bad when you think it's bad. That is, some people think it's ok to take a day off (or two months off) and lie in bed with magazines. If I'm going to do it, I might as well enjoy it. Taking away the guilt makes me more excited to accomplish things too.
I keep reaching milestones in my life when I think I will never have to do an algebra problem again, and then they keep making me do them. The last time was the SATs. This time I have a GRE in two weeks.
