Today I scoped these babies out, I think I am going back for them in red:


And these, so hot, but why make them in no-ladies-can-walk heel heights? That quit being sexy in like 1940. I wish they could just be a nice 3 in. and compromise about it. Be all hot but also we can wear them for reals. I am loving the kitten heel boots coming out this season. All sassy and moderne.


Today I racked up like $600 worth of imaginary shopping, to be fulfilled whever I get $600 in my hot little hands.

I just bought the top pair of shoes you have showing! But mine are dark pink and lack the pretty leaf-shaped cut-outs at the back. (How are they the same then Alice? Well, same shape & heel.)

heh, that's funny, I have an easier time walking in my 5" heels than in kitten heels.

See, ladies tell me that, and I kind of get the splayed toe controlling it thing, but can you stand in them for any length of time?

The balls of my feet get all swollen if I do it even for like 20 minutes. I think also maybe it's different for people who use cars to get around more.

The low-cut sides on these new shoes feel funny like they're going to fall off, but I got no problem with the heels.

Well, I used to dance in them for 6 hours a night, but actually thinking about walking around a city street, with potholes and sewer grates, I can see how it would be a problem. Having a car definatley makes that part easier.
The secret is ball-of-foot pads to keep your feet from aching while standing in them.

'tis highly unlikely any subway/bus riding/walking nyc ladies will say that five inch heels are more comfortable than kitten heels. it's impossible if you have to traverse potholes and sidewalk gratings.

if i drove or lived in a city that allowed easy car transportation, i'd be sporting my four inch heels all the time. but for ease of walking and running away from muggers (ha) i prefer low heels or flats. or sneakers.
