(no subject)

I just impulse-bought this coat for $130 (on sale from $250). Should I keep it or return it? It's pretty cool but I do have two other similar coats, and it also kind of reminds me of something my mom would pick out. Remember, $130 = two pairs of shoes.



Also I was originally looking at this one, which is $218, so maybe I should get this one instead?

I like the 2nd one better, but I'd probably go for the shoes over both of them. I have a problem with shoes.

Return the first one. Think a couple of days. Buy the second one if you still want it. If you don't, buy shoes.

The first one is kind of like cotton suede, thin but lined, with heavy embroidery all over. The second one is velvet and satin!

I can't tell how much I would wear either of them. But they're gorgeous.

both would suit you well, but think immediate future.
you'll be able to wear #1 into the fall, and possibly early into the winter.
you've got like, 1 week until #2 makes you cry with cold shivers.

totally true. But I think I can wear 2 under a coat, like as a sweater. And 1, the reason I'm so doubtful is that it's kind of plum-colored and for some reason I hate purple clothes.

if i had to pick for me, i'd say #2, never 1, but you seriously could pull off both.
