This week has been about delighting in the routine. Even the dreary morning walk to the subway, past the guy who's always at the burrito shop and the guy on the bench at the L cafe, has been springy and right.

Let's see if it's still all right tomorrow at 8 am when I start my double shift.

I'm down on S. 1st, so I go by quite a few cafes. That one dude Frank, the tall older homeless guy? He pretty much lives on that bench. The best part is how he's buddies with everyone and they all wave and say hi. He gave me and my boyfriend restaurant recommendations one day when we were standing on the corner and couldn't decide.
