One thing I noticed about New Orleans is that everybody is going to the party. Your boss is at the party. Your grandma is at the party. Nobody is like "Oh, I have to finish up this paperwork so I'm not going to the party."

How nice to not be ashamed of wanting to be at the party. I felt like I had to lie to a past boss because I wanted to go to Burning Man, and it was okay to take off to see family but not to go to a party.

In New York even the parties are competitive.

Yeah. In bars you get old people and middle aged people instead of just the 20's, like here.

Also supposedly the fattest city in the land. I did notice all the college girls had beer guts.
