if you want to participate in getting me a free ipod, check this out. I just did it for Jen, and basically you give them your mailing address and an email address, and sign up for one thing (i.e. Ebay, I just made a new account), some of which are free and some aren't (read the fine print). You don't have to put in credit card info if you pick the right thing. And if five of you do it, I get an ipod and I buy you a drink. And you can scam your poor friends into doing it too to get you one. So brilliant, to hold out the ipod like a shining beacon. The one thing everybody wants.

Is it for real? It seems too good to be true hehe.

I know. But it looks pretty legit. The only loophole is that they seem to be able to weasel out at any time. The thing is that if they weasel on everyone, we will all be pissed. I figure, worst comes to worst, I've given them an email address and home address -- which like, 8 million websites already have, without my permission, anyway.

No. [Unknown site tag] just posted about it. The reason I think it might work is that focus groups would pay you nearly that much to show up. But I am prepared for it not to work.

All kinds of marketing firms. You can sometimes find them on craigslist -- looking for 25-30 year olds who wear contacts, etc. I have never done it, but apparently you show up and do a survey or look at a product or something and get like $100.

IT WORKS

They are little white pocket-sized machines that can hold something like 10,000 songs. They have magical devices that you can attach to them to play on a radio frequency (like if you are in a car). You can put all your music on shuffle.

My neighbor is selling all his CDs and putting his music on his ipod. Plus a lot of people in NYC have them to ease the daily commute and provide a walking around soundtrack. And they cost $250 or more.

If you can't see the self-evident-reality of Heaven or Hell where we soon shall depart from this Finite Existence, good. I'll remind you. VERY axiomatic to those who see. God bless.
