Nurses. Doctors. Medicine. X-rays. And other sick stuff to entertain you.
Soldiers of Fortune is an all new band made of Brad Truax (Broke Review and countless other projects), Kid Millions (Oneida), Mark Moore (The Ospreys), Pappa Crazee (Oakley Hall), and Barry London (Jah Division). This will be
their debut performance.
Japanther rocks it like no one can and is graciously playing this show after having already toured for six weeks!!!
Torch Job began at Burningman in 1999 and has since turned into a cult punk carnival of three chord inexplicable amazingness.
This is a benefit concert for Shel Kimen (kleverVice) with bands, DJs, and dark humor to raise much needed funds for her 20 foot fall (March 5th, 2004) from a very high wall onto very hard concrete floor in the name of art (i.e. setting up for a big art event/party she got really hurt).
Shel broke her right arm (and has a permanent titanium plate holding it together), her shoulder, four ribs, her pelvis in three places, her sacrum (tailbone), lacerated her liver, and tore open her insides enough to have blood draining from her chest for two weeks. There's more but we'll leave it at that...
The whole thing is kind of gory and intense and despite health insurance, extraordinarily expensive.
Also: my first t-shirts unveiled! Assuming I can get them made and attend a wedding party in South Jersey, all in a weekend! Hey, where can I get a screen made overnight, guys? Standard is closed for Rosh Hashanah...
Anyhow, I think this will be fun.
