I can't decide
Aug. 5th, 2002 02:12 pmwhether to go to Burning Man or not. I could probably take three days off work, spend about $400 on airfare & another $200 on supplies and do it.
Pros:
It will be fun
I will see lots of friends I never get to see
Cons:
It will be hot & dirty
It will be pretty expensive
Also: this would be the first year I didn't go since I was 19. A lot of things have changed in my life, mostly directly because of Burning Man and the people I met there. But, I also know what to expect -- I've learned my lessons from it. Still though, it fires up the imagination and I do meet great new people too. I don't know I don't know. What should I do?

one ting about BM is every year though i know i haven't seen it all, i *feel* like i've seen it all and then i'm pleasantly surprised by the monstrous amazingness of it all all over again.
