* Brooklyn Defenders Wanted: Those annoying t-shirts finally have a point. Help rein in the aggressive rezoning and development of Williamsburg/Greenpoint (i.e. those 40-story luxury condo towers proposed for the waterfront, around McCarren Park and more). We want a public esplanade/more park space, mandated affordable housing, a height cap for sky-rise buildings, more L train service, a mix of light industry and residential use.
What can you do?
