I am a serial killer
Aug. 15th, 2002 11:13 amEvery time I get a plant it dies. Sometimes it takes longer than other times. Actually, once I had a tiny cactus that survived a whole school year with me, but then I had to leave it on a newspaper box because I was taking a Greyhound cross-country and could not bring a small cactus.
All this to say: the orange tree is looking rough. My most ambitious plant to date, I water it every other day and keep it by the window. Yesterday it looked fine but this morning all the leaves were drooping in a serious way. I put it in the kitchen thinking the humidity might be better for it than my A/Ced office.
*fingers crossed*

Date: 2002-08-15 11:13 am (UTC)Nothing about whether to keep it in the kitchen or in the office.
I've been watering it so much because the leaves keep drying up and falling off. (So sad!)
But the good news is that there are tiny new leaves at the top, so maybe it's supposed to happen like that.
Dude, come visit my office after work today.

I finally decide to throw them out and THEN they start to perk up a little, as if to say: "Aw baby, give me a second chance!" and I'm like "...well, okay, I guess we can give it another try..." and the pattern repeats for months.
I finally just quit getting plants.
