uggh I am trying to install a dell printer on a mac? I have the disc and setup.exe but it says it doesn't know what application to use to open it...

Not sure if this will help, but I usually just search for printer drivers online (ie do a google search for "mac + dell + model# + driver + download"). Or go to the dell site and see if they have product downloads.

Dell doesn't actually make the printer( its just re-marketed as Dell), if you can find out who really makes it, just download the real manufacture driver i.e. HP or whomever

there is also some program that you can download that transforms .exe to .whatever-works-for-a-mac

i wish i could tell you i know what it is! i am not at my apple-y compuzer right now either, or else i would poke around to find out what it is called...
