My ipod won't turn on! I usually charge it via usb cable plugged directly to the computer. the other day I changed it to plug into the keyboard usb hole.

it said low usb power, but kept charging just fine. In the morning, it wouldn't turn on.

I changed the plug back to the computer but it doesn't look like it's charging or do anything at all.

I guess next step is to try to charge it with my roommate's real wall charger? (mine is in new orleans!)

Is there a way to jumpstart it? I've tried pressing menu/button and play/button.

i have problems with mine charging off the usb thing all the time. if i hook it up to the wall outlet for a while it seems to clear it up. i don't know any other way of jumpstarting it.

mine did something like this yesterday and i held down the menu and round button and it did the reset thing where you see the apple on the screen and then it charged normally.

i wonder if ipods are programmed to throw a tantrum right when new ipods are introduced.
