Ok so I need a new camera so I can post photos of the giant pink dress I bought yesterday which I want to make into a halloween costume but I don't know of what.
The last time I had a giant pink dress for halloween, I was a wedding cake and wore a bride and groom cake topper on my head. And I caught on fire!
So, should I buy a camera from overstock.com? Obviously I'd get a brand name one. They are all refurbished I think. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with any of them.
Or should I just suck it up and go to B&H or Adorama? I am thinking of just getting the same camera I had (either a Canon S200 or S400) because I have extra compatible batteries, charger, cords, memory card etc. because I lost TWO of them. And never putting it on my wrist again. I could get a more basic version (the S200) for $200 which is my spending limit.
So basically for $200, can I get something better than a new Canon S200? They have some crazy like low-level SLRs on Overstock.
I'm going to miss the manual functions of my last camera (which would be more like $300 to replace). I had the S200 for 2 or 3 years and I liked it pretty well although it was a little clunky.
