This morning on the subway there was a heavily-made-up Russian woman talking to her heavily-made-up friend, both in flashy fur-trimmed jackets, tall boots & miniskirts, and the first woman showed her friend a Polaroid of some skin with a big ugly bruise (couldn't tell what part -- a side? an upper chest?)

But they were both smiling and pretty jovial.

it is weird, i was going to post about this couple arguing next to me on the subway this morning -- i could not tell if they were a couple or if he was her pimp. (sometimes maybe it's a fine line.) but the day has beaten their precious dialogue out of my fragile head.
