Absolutely Freezing

I now have a choice of 1. freezing w/ no heat in my office or 2. turning on the little space heater which directly contributed to making me get a cold yesterday.

The other contributor is my boss who insists on coming in, then tells me she has a cold.

I am feeling quite run down and I want to go home. Except that home is ridiculous. The bedrooms on the outside last night were literally about 45 degrees. I want to go to somebody else's home.

But I have a interview to become an Ebay trading assistant (!) this evening. So I will be soldiering on...

If yer THAT frickin' freezing in yer own haysack, split dodge. You're an adult now and too old to flounder. Need a warm futon to sleep in? You can crash my pad for a few while you decide waht to do. No worries. It ain't the answer, but you'll get some sleep. My apartment is hotter than a Polish oven.

I am actually okay in the current place. It's just that the second I decide, I have to leap into action to get a new person for it, move shit, etc. So I am making myself insane about it.

Understood. I were you, I'd step. Take a 6-month lease somewhere else [the new joint you scoped out?] and look for something better.

Until then, you need a warm space to wiggle toes, you know who to ask, anytime.
