Demands

I want:
A day off every two weeks to stay home and "read manuscripts".
To come in at 9:30 or 10 instead of 9 (officially).
A raise. I make so little money it's 1) painful 2) not even funny.
To rearrange my office so I don't get a pinched nerve from my weird mouse setup.

How can I hypnotize my bosses into agreeing to my demands? Taking a lesson from the transit strike, I believe I have some of the reins of their destinies gathered up (i.e. they can't function without me to get their mail, answer their phones, etc.). Also it seems l should come in high to bargain and compromise. "I want a pony and a zillion dollars and a backrub!"

I will be compiling a list of accomplishments soon.

Also:
I want to trim a tree! I want eggnog and a fire and to wear a dress to party (instead of a costume and overcoat.) Nobody I know lives in a house. We all live in lofts and apartments and are going away.

we have a fireplace and i make killer spanish coffees.
evidently, i'm in charge of the devilled eggs too. they will be etra devilish (i.e. extra hot sauce and cayenne).

I've found it very helpful to bitch a whole lot and then things finally start looking up. I've been begging for warm weather and the last 2 days have been in the 50's. That's warm for Shitcago this time of year. So this means more people should bitch and complain.....I'm already wondering out loud when Drew is gonna get here!
