At home. Avoiding packing. Awesome friend Paul Burn who is visiting from Chicago tore through the room in a packing whirlwind, lending some of the drive that powers him to build gorgeous giant trees and ice caves and skull hot tubs.

The room looks pretty naked and confused. Things are piled up more or less ready. Still quite filthy.

I will not let anything into my new room unless absolutely necessary. Every thing must audition before I set it down in there.

He is very excellent. I recommend him highly. He only moved there this last fall for an MFA program, so he is really from NY.

Thanks, I know. It is a whirlwind of separating.

I am feeling more and more right about it.

Also I plan to be more of a hostess again and have brunches and other kinds of things so people can come over and inspect my new living quarters. I will alert you & pivo.
