Also, at Peter Luger's, my two friends ordered their burgers rare and the waiter nodded approvingly. I ordered mine medium well because for heaven's sake, I just started eating meat again after 9 years of not.

Then we overheard him telling the other table that rare means "lightly warmed on the outside, pink and COLD on the inside"!!!

Aha ha. Who wins, me.

only in the sweatshops they call a fast food chain. reason number one to spend real money. but, i've heard/read that mickey d's ground beef is actually safer than the ground beef at the supermarket. lawsuit fears, arising fom the jack in a box incident in the early 90's. weird.
