Today in New York City it has been very hot and muggy. And I saw about 800 people walking around in:
boots
long pants
jackets

because they are suckers.

I got a Marcel Dzama notebook & prints thing today that is published by McSweeney's. So far it's very charming and good. It's a reproduction of his scrapbook. Also, there is a photo of him in it, and he is cute.

I saw a girl on the subway with an awesome tattoo of birds in flight. Also, my roommate Emily is the best. We have no computers at home since mine is broken. I am shopping for a used ibook, I think. I don't need anything fancy, just something that gets on the internet, will edit photos and ideally burns CDs.

The apartment listings for this week from nonsensenyc. These seem particularly good. The Williamsburg loft is AMAZING -- the guy you'd share with is in the Hungry March Band, and I first visited it when a clown friend lived there.
